BEST HISTORICAL FICTION WINNER & BEST DEBUT NOVEL.
WEYWARD by EMILIA HART.
Weyward is a historical fiction novel that follows three women across three timelines, 1619, 1842, and 2019.
The book deals with feminism and power rooted in the natural world.
BEST MYSTERY/ THRILLER WINNER
THE HOUSEMAID'S SECRET BY FREIDA McFADDEN.
The sequel to The Housemaid, this psychological thriller, follows Millie Calloway, a maid with a secret who works for wealthy clients and soon finds herself caught in the middle of a web of mystery and manipulation.
ROMANCE WINNER:
HAPPY PLACE by EMILY HENRY.
This adult romance follows a couple who just broke up, but they pretend to be together during a trip they have with friends.
ROMANTASY WINNER:
FOURTH WING by REBECCA YARROS.
This is an adult high fantasy novel with a mix of romance. TikTok made this book viral and helped it reach the masses. It has dragons, a war college, and a world that is on the brink of war. Amazon is going to make a web series out of this book and the upcoming sequels.
BEST FANTASY WINNER:
HELL BENT by LEIGH BARDUGO.
This book is the sequel to Ninth House, another winner from 2019. Leigh Bardugo is an expert in creating great fantasy worlds.
SCIENCE FICTION WINNER:
IN THE LIVES OF PUPPET by TJ KLUNE
A novel about a unique robot family living in a hidden home nestled within a grove of trees. Fatherly inventor android Giovanni Lawson, a pleasantly sadistic nurse machine, and a small vacuum desperate for love and attention. Victor Lawson, a human, lives there too. This book deals with the theme of what it means to be human.

HOLLY by STEPHEN KING.
Stephen King, the name that every book reader is aware of. He had won the Goodreads Choice Award multiple times from 2011 to 2023. In, 2018, he won twice.
